I saw the list of entries to the prize draw was made available, so I had a quick look at the statistics to see where I was in the list.
Average count: 34,806
Median count: 9,776
Max count: 1,196,131 (wow!)
My 136,399 ranks me at number 74.
Thats been generated on an intel i7 2.4Ghz running pretty much 24/7 at 60% of CPU. So theres some big groups of processors out there to get the higher numbers.
Hi Ian. Just a heads-up -- the Prize Draw list is a list of users, not computers. So lots of users -- more than half -- have more than one machine. (I think our biggest user has 15 machines.)
Also, we were for a while running a project that was more bandwidth constrained than CPU constrained: for this project a slower machine with a faster net connection might have outperformed a fast-CPU machine with a comparatively slower network connection. (*That project is now completed, though.)
My count is only 30k, but have only been running the project within work hours 4/5 days a week for about a month. Am quite lucky to have an 8 core Mac Pro working for me (3.2Ghz per core) so when it is on it does power through work.

Thanks Matt.. I'd grouped three machines into my account in the beginning.. But 2 out of three were ... 'legacy' :-) and not adding much to my total!
But 15 machines? Thats going to help your workload alot!

Thanks, Zac -- And Thanks, Ian... And good luck w. the draws :)
For anyone curious, the winner was ranked 185 in the entry list.
