It will take a while when they're going to draw the closing number of the stock market. If we're lucky the numbers represent all the way up to a matching entry number that someone has otherwise it cycles again until it matches. Hi James, the prize is a thousand dollars. When the meter hits 100% we assemble and release the List of Entries, then everyone has 48 hours to check for errors or omissions.
(The moment it hits 100%, that prize draw period ends and the next one starts. All points are reset and counting towards the next draw.)
Once the List is final, we pick a draw date and use stockmarket closing prices as a random number generator to pick the winner. We also check the winner is eligible, hasn't cheated, and is legally allowed to win the prize in their country.
The meter remains on 100% during the prize draw, but is still counting again in the background. It is typically on 10% by the time we reset it.
Any idea on when we'll find out how much the jackpot is and who the winner is?
