I am quite curious as to why it seems that downloaded tasks' deadlines are so close to their time of download...for example a task will show a deadline of 45 mins from the downloaded time, and yet the Estimated remaining time until completion will be Hours away.
It could be I am misunderstanding the "Terminology" or meaning of the Descriptions in the columns on the task page!
Any help would Very Much Appreciated... Charity Engine IS such a Great idea!
we deliberately assign short deadlines to ensure that the jobs are started as soon as they are received by the client; once we get confirmation that the task is in progress, we extend the deadline on the server side (sadly, this currently does not propagate to the client). So the deadlines you see are not that important, and we happily accept results after the deadline has passed.

Greetings Rytis,
Whew...Glad to read Your post and know that My work Is valuable!!
I was overclocking my AMD A3620 clear up to 4000Mhz trying to acheive those quit snug deadlines!!!
It seems like the Radeon HD 6530D was doing better, but the deadlines for the non-Gpu were really worrying me!
Thanks Again,
DocH
