Dear all,

I found the page that is supposed to describe how to remove CE from BOINC on Linux but it  seems to be 'work in progress': http://www.charityengine.com/community/wiki/basic-and-complete-uninstall-charity-engine-and-boinc

Can anybody advise me/us on how to completely remove CE (and all it descendant projects) from BOINC on Linux (in my case Ubuntu)?

Just to clarify -- do you want to stop running Charity Engine, but retain BOINC; or do you want to remove everything?

to be exact I wish to remove Charity Engine from BOINC and keep BOINC on my PC.

If you want to keep BOINC and just disconnect from Charity Engine, go to the Tools menu and select "Stop using Charity Engine..."

Then on your Projects tab you can select any projects you don't want to work on anymore and click the Remove button. That should be all it takes.

(Note this is using the "Advanced view"; if you don't see those menus, go to View and then Advanced view... to switch)
