Hello, I'm new to Charity Engine (but not to BOINC, since I've already used in the past for other projects).
I've tried to connect to CE account manager, on three different pcs, but I always get an error. Here's what my log shows:
23/11/2017 16:11:40 | | Fetching configuration file from http://www.charityengine.com/get_project_config.php 23/11/2017 16:11:43 | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 23/11/2017 16:11:47 | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.
I've tried to add other projects, like World Community Grid, and it works fine. I'll try later, of course, to see if it's just a temporary glitch.
Hi Daniele -- I'm inclined to think this is a temporary network issue, either locally for you or with DNS. I ran a test and it was able to connect successfully.
Is this is what happens automatically when you run Charity Engine? Or are you using "Attach to account manager" or some other manual step?
