Before shutting down my PC I suspend my projects in BOINC Manager. On boot the projects are already running. I prefer to resume projects at a time of my choice sometime after boot. Where and what are the settings to do that?
You may have to switch to the Advanced View in the manager, which is under the View menu, and then you can see the Activity menu. There is an option to "Suspend" computing there which should take effect immediately and not revert back to running until you go back in there and set it to "Run always" or "Run based on preferences" (the latter being the default).
This should be all you need to do what you want, so you won't have to suspend projects individually.

Thanks for your reply Tristan Olive.
That should do the trick.
