I had a similar "lost projects" issue on a second machine two days ago, had to restart the client a couple of times, then synchronise a couple of times.
The project/account details are the same on the two machines that I just checked; WCG has vanished on both. The thing that's different is the Statistics display.
Anyway, I guess it will sort itself out. Thanks for your feedback.
Hmm. The "lost projects" issue went away until yesterday .. when the Rosetta Project suddenly vanished completely, together with a number of half-completed Rosetta tasks. Anyway, I'm assuming there was a good reason for this, perhaps linked to the excessive times being spent on Rosetta python Virtual Box tasks.
So that brings me back to the WCG missing points issue; are we any closer now to getting this resolved?
We did have the chance to meet (in an introductory way) some of the new maintainers of WCG, and they seem to be quite interested in working with the greater community to make improvements. That being said, they have not yet completed the transition from IBM, so we are going to have to continue checking in to see when they are ready to make the API changes.
It's been a couple of months since we last revisited the WCG points issue, and I'm getting the feeling that I might be an old man by the time it's resolved. Oh wait .. :(
WCG is still in the middle of their migration from IBM to Krembil Research Institute. They are publishing news on their website (under "Migration updates"), but yes, it has been about 2 months since that technical process began, and maybe more like a year since the administrative process began.
The alternative to doing this the right way with an API update on their end is for us to hack together some method of working around the API. It's feasible, but I'm not sure how complicated it could get. It would take a bit of exploration. We could use your account as the guinea pig, but what happens if it works? Then I'd have to do the same for everyone else! :)
Definitely something to consider, given the anniversary of this issue...
I noticed that the WCG has been down for an upgrade, and is now due to restart May 9. Is there any chance that we might then be able gain credit for our previous WCG work?
It seems that the WCG post-update restart has now been re-scheduled to May 24; that's tomorrow! Tristan, will you be able to look later this week please at what's been done, and check whether you'll now be able to resolve our WCG missing points issue?
Apologies, Andrew. The "Unfollow" button at the bottom of this page worked as expected, but the link in the email was not working. This has been fixed and you have also been unsubscribed from these topics to prevent further notifications.
Graham, the WCG restart has still not been completed, so we continue to wait. Hopefully once all of that work is completed, they will have a good understanding of the few changes we need and maybe the momentum in development in order to get them done.
All my points reverted back to 0 yesterday on the dashboard. The graphs don't indicate 0 points and my daily average should be about 300K. What happened?

I'm out now, given up. How do I stop getting these messages?
Andrew, you should see an "Unfollow" button at the bottom right of this discussion thread if you no longer want notifications about it.
Thanks

I keep pressing the link to stop following this conversation but I still get updates. It's now become illegal spam so please do something about it.

We'll look into this. It seems there is a disconnect somewhere, which could be affecting other users, too.
Yes, same story for me. Daily average is showing zero points this morning.
