I think you need to make more people aware of Charity Engine so you can get more volunteers. I'd never heard of it until I happened across a link to you from a Rosetta user who had it in his profile!
Weirdly, demand - not supply - is the bottleneck at the moment. We actually need more work for the grid which we already have.
Even donating all the surplus to science projects is not always possible, as they can break if we send them too much.

I can use Boinc without Charity Engine, which means I can adjust things myself and decide what to run. And it pays more! (Gridcoin)
