I have Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS in WSL1  and boinc 7.16.6 installed from https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_ubuntu_7.16.6_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.sh

 

A few questions for you, to help us sort things out:

1. What projects are listed in your desktop app on this computer?
2. Are there any errors showing in "notices"?
3. Had you received work previously on this device?

(PS: CE11 does not work on Linux devices)

Btw, from your original comment above, I realize:

Are you running a BOINC desktop app inside a Linux virtual machine, on a Windows device (via WSL)?

If so, just curious why do that, rather than just run BOINC or CE for Windows (which will likely work better, and be a lot simpler)?
